GeoTechMine: Geotechnical Aspects in Mining
Information and links on a variety of technical aspects of mining & mineral exploration.

Announcement

Without geotechnical engineers there would be no mines. We design and build the dams and tailings impoundments; we make sure the heap leach pads and waste rock dumps are stable; and we are mostly responsible for the stability of open pit rock slopes and underground mine backfill and subsidence avoidance works. This site is the place where we provide updated news, views, reviews, and resources on mine geotechnical perspectives and issues.
